Relic is Ucluelet's newest forward thinking Surf Shop and Surf School,conveniently located at the entrance of town in 'The Uclectic'. Designed to meet the needs of both local surfers and those visiting our area through high quality service and product. Relic surf shop has been built with the environment in mind. Used shipping containers have been salvaged from shipping yards and transformed into an eclectic haven, with an array of great Surf Wear, Surf Gear, Surf Rentals (polyester,epoxy and soft top surf boards), Surf Boards, Womens Surf Boards, Skim Boards, Skate Boards, Skate Decks, Boogie Boards, SUPs (Stand Up Paddleboards) and lots of Surf Accessories
We offer top quality surf rental gear at the best rates on the coast. We also offer the longest shop/rental hours so you can get your gear first thing in the morning and you dont have to race back at 5pm to return it. Rental hours are from 9am until 9pm, 7 days a week. Relic is open 9am to 6pm (Sun-Thurs) and 9am to 8pm on Fridays and Saturdays. Gear can be rented before and after shop hours from the Surfs Inn Backpackers at 1874 Peninsula Rd.
Coffee, coffee, coffee...grab your java for the beach while getting geared up. We do Organic, Fairtrade coffee, espresso, lattes and for those hot days we can make your favorite coffee iced. We also have an assortment of Teas, Hot Chocolate and Glaceau Vitamin Water drinks.
The Relic Surf Instructors are a fun and passionate crew of surfers who are trained in ocean safety and carry a minimum of Bronze Cross/Medallion CPR training. All of our instructors are multi faccetted and have coaching backgrounds not only in surfing but other sports as well, some even being Certified Coaches at the National level.
If you have a group or are interested in longer term surf rentals we have some unbeatable deals for you. We also offer Stay and Surf packages from the Surfs Inn Backpackers and Rainforest Cottages.
